@echicao to yur question can you replace tamarind with something else.. tamarind is used wildly but not not ever knows it's there in western culture for example it's the main ingredient in Worcestershire sauce.. it has a sore but slight sweetness to it.. It comes in a wide deviate of was you can look for a past or dried version that you can substitute but you can't replace it all together.. It is too unique of a flavor..

Im from dallas, tx and I do a little bit of Indian cooking so I'm excited about trying this in the coming weekend... Indian's use boiled eggs in a lot of sauce dishes and it is very good... thank you for this video... i'll let you know how it turns out...

@tpithan He's not even using a regular spoon. He's using a small tea spoon, so that load of salt was actual around a tablespoon. So, it's not that much.
