@hack451 they formed in 1993, this vid is from 1996. the bad vid is just crappy quality not first generation. it's 320x240 blown up by Youtube to fit it's much bigger screen, and it's all i had. the bad sound is actually compressed mono at 37kbps. it was like that when i first downloaded it years ago

Crist this is so freakin' 80s. When were they on Letterman? SNZ is one of my fav bigband/jass groups, but I had no idea they were so old. (Those who have HBO will remember this particular song from the series Family Business)First, this vid seems very chopply edited, and the sound is horrible. Hard to tell if it's the vid or just the sound stage at the old Ed Sulivan theatre. They sound much better than this last time I listened to them.

It's a good song but this is one of those times when the cover is better. streetlights version is just more fun to sing and listen and move to

These guys remind me a bit of Zappa and the Mother's of Invention. Crazy talented musicians, but just a bit too musically and intellectually dense for most people to comprehend.
